I have a question for you. How long does it take you to recover from a “NO”?
Rather that “NO” comes in the form of :
- A client telling you they can’t afford your services
- They chose someone else
- You sold zero spots in your program
- No one is engaging with your content
- No one even clicked your landing page for your course
No matter what it is…how long does it take you to swallow that disappointment and get back on the horse and ride out? I’ll be transparent.
How Long Does It Take You to Recover From NO
I’m in the season of mastering business revenue predictability. I am the lead queen and my closing rate is impeccable but, I’ve had to get out of the people-pleasing business and simplify my services.

Anyways back to my whole spiel, I know how to attract and get my ideal leads into my calendar.
I know how to close a sale if indeed the ideal client is ready to invest…I know the recipe for the most important things that will get me to my goal of predictable revenue growth.
However, last week did not go as planned. I received SEVERAL “no’s” and it hurt me.
In my eyes, I prepared and presented the value and solution to the prospective clients’ expressed problems, and still, I didn’t meet my goal this week.
Each day, each “NO” I became more and more deflated mentally but do you know what I did? EXACTLY What I’ve been doing.
Sure I noted some things I will do differently but I didn’t change my pace or my agenda based on the NOs.
I moved as if I had added a few clients to my roster.
And do you know what happened next?
At the end of the week, I got a new client!
One that expressed their needs and gladly accepted the solution that I offered her oh and offered to pay more than what I asked of her(I declined the price is the price no higher no lower I accept tips but that’s about it)!
What am I saying here?
Well, a few things…
- Don’t let disappointment dictate how you move!
- Move steady and diligently REGARDLESS of what is going on around you.
- Do what you KNOW to do even if you don’t feel like it…
